Tuffy's soft dog toys are made with several layers of material and several rows of stitching to create a very tough but soft dog toy. Most toys have multiple squeakers in 'safety pockets' and all float and are washable. Please refer to individual toys for details. These toys are tough. However, the shape of the toy can impact the dog's ability to penetrate the toy over time. That's why each Tuffy's toy is rated on a 'Tuff' scale – to help you choose the Tuffy's toy that is right for your dog. Tuffy's toys are strong enough to withstand fetch and tug games, but they are not chew toys and are not indestructible.
