Nina Ottosen's Dog Brick Game

Nina Ottosen dived into the world of dog playthings after having two kids a year and a half apart. With a pair of babies to care for, suddenly her two dogs weren’t getting the attention they were used to. Before having children, Nina trained and competed with her two Bouvier des Flandres pups, so they were used to not only being physically exercised, but mentally stimulated as well. Without the time to train, she wanted to find an easy way to keep them mentally engaged. That’s when she started her company Zoo Active Products AB in 1993, which has since released 16 products (some in both plastic and wood varieties) that use hidden treats as an incentive for dogs to think outside of the chew toy.
