Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. At any time you can adjust the quantities or remove items from your shopping cart by clicking 'View Cart'. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. Please give a valid email address as we will email your invoice to you, a packing list will accompany the order. If you require a paper invoice please contact us and we will post one out to you.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and debit cards. We use Actinic Payments secure payment site, so you may use your credit or debit card with confidence.

We can accept cheques and PO's that are drawn on a UK bank. Please make payable to Phytoscience (Europe) Ltd and cross A/C Payee. Goods will be despatched once your cheque has been received.

All you have to do is select "Pay by Cheque or Postal Order" option in the checkout area, and post cheques or PO's to:

If payment is not received within 10 working days the order will be cancelled and the goods returned to stock.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing of the goods, shipping charges or stock levels where we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In this case, we will always contact you first before any decision is made on your order.

Ordering the Correct Size
Please try and ensure the goods are the correct size when ordering. As with Human gear, sizing is important. To help you find the correct size for your dog, a sizing chart is available on the product pages where relevant, or please refer to the 'Dog Size Information' section. If you have any further queries, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Order Cancellation
By law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within 7 working days of the item's delivery to you. To cancel your purchase during this period, please email or write to us giving your order number. Please package the relevant, unused item securely and send it to us so that we can receive it within 7 working days of the date the item was delivered to you. For your protection we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service. Return and original packaging costs cannot be refunded.

Liability
The total liability for any claim howsoever arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by Phytoscience (Europe) Ltd.

Important Notice
All adventure activities are potentially hazardous. Even the correct selection, maintenance and use of equipment and gear cannot eliminate all danger. Any persons using gear or accessories bought from Phytoscience (Europe) Ltd, personally assumes all risks and accepts responsibility for any damages or injuries of any kind, including death. Staff and reference material from Scruff MacDuff should be accepted as advice only and in no way should this be a substitute for proper instruction, vetinary care or common sense use.

Shipping And Handling Standard Service is by Royal Mail 1st class post.
Special Delivery is by Royal Mail Special Delivery
Courier Service is by City Link.
Airmail is by Royal Mail International Signed For small packet post.
International deliveries is by Fedex International.

Standard, Special Delivery and Airmail services are charged by weight.
Courier service is charged per consignment up to 10Kg and then by weight.
Heavier or items too large or expensive to be sent by Royal Mail will be sent by Courier.
Fedex International services are charged first volumetrically and then by weight.

Standard shipping cost to UK Mainland starst at £3.75.
Courier shipping cost to UK Mainland starts at £5.80 per consignment.
International services costs vary by country and the service options and charges will be shown at check out. Items too long to be sent by small packet airmail will be sent by Fedex International service.
Delivery Schedule We are currently despatching orders received before 12:00 on the same day, otherwise they are despatched the following day of reciept of payment (ex. Sat, Sun and Bank Holidays). International orders are despatched the next working day from receipt of payment.

Delivery times are then as follows:-
Standard Service generally takes 2 - 10 working days from despatch.
Special Delivery will take 1 working days from despatch for delivery by 1pm. (Not guaranteed for Saturday delivery)
Courier Service will take 1 working days (Mon to Friday) from despatch for UK Mainland and Central London,
2 - 4 working days from despach for the Scottish Highlands and Islands, UK Islands, Northern Ireland and Eire. Courier Service does not deliver on Saturdays.
Fedex International takes 2 - 5 working days.
Airmail will take 5 to10 working days.

Please note that for International Deliveries we are not responsible for any further duties or charges to be paid to the recieving counties Custom Officials. These have to be paid for by the customer.

An order can be left in a secure location (e.g. shed, outhouse or garage) on the instructions of the customer but this is done at the customers own risk. We cannot advise the delivery companies to leave an item on the doorstep or in the back garden etc.

If a Courier or Fedex delivery arrives damaged or crushed, please do no sign for it or sign for it only as damaged container, let us know within 24 hrs, so we may arrange for the courier to collect the damaged item and return it to us

The times stated are those promised by the delivery companies involved, but sometimes delays occur outwith our control. We cannot be held responsible for for delivery delays occuring once goods leave our warehouse. Standard Delivery cannot be tracked. Special Delivery and Airmail have limited tracking. Courier and Fedex International services have full tracking.If you wish to track an item please call 01506 848 966 between 08:30 and 17:30 or email info@scruffmacduff.co.uk for your tracking number.
Back Orders
At this point we are unfortunately unable to offer a backorder service.
Tax Charges
For orders made from the UK or the European Union, 17.5% VAT is added. All other orders are VAT free and prices are ammended at checkout. All product prices are shown inclusive of VAT.
Credit Card Security
Our site is linked to Actinic Payments secure server, when making payments by credit or debit card all the payment details are taken by Actinic Payments. Their secure online server uses the latest SSL encyption and the information is transmitted using very complicated logarithm combinations. If you prefer to order over the telephone, be rest assured that your payment details are destroyed as soon as we have finished processing your order. We use Actinic Payments to take all our payments including telephone orders. We do not retain any card details. Actinic Payments is powered by Creditcall.
Guarantee
Phytoscience (Europe) Ltd fully honours our manufacturers warranties with all goods guaranteed against defects in material or craftmanship. This does not cover general wear and tear, accidents, improper care or misuse, or damages caused by your four-legged friend's chewing habit. Consequential and incidental damages are not recoverable under this guarantee.
Please contact us for prompt repair or replacement at our discretion prior to returning the products. Warranty products will need to be returned clean.
For products damaged due to reasons outside the scope of our guarantee, please contact us direct for further instructions and authorisation before returning the product.

Phytoscience (Europe) Ltd is committed to protecting your privacy. We will not disclose information about you to third parties. We will only use the information we collect about you to third parties. We will only use the information we collect about you lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information collected by our site is only used to take and fulfill your order, and we will only dislose information to third parties for the purpose of delivering your goods. The type of information we collect about you includes; your name, address, telephone number and email address. The information we hold will be accurate and as up to date as your last contact with us. You can check the information we hold about you on request by email. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

Cookies are used on this shopping site to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart, to store delivery addresses if the address book is used and to store your details if you select the 'Remember Me' Option. They are also used after you have logged on as part of that process. You can turn off cookies within your browser by going to 'Tools | Internet Options | Privacy' and selecting to block cookies. Returns Policy
We hope that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. However if you are unhappy for any reason, you can return it to us within 7 days including your order number and a copy of the original receipt/invoice. As long as the good are clean, free from animal hair, unused, undamaged and still sealed (where applicable), complete with the original packaging and are received in a re-saleable condition, we will either exchange the item as per your request or refund the cost of the goods. For items returned after 7 days, credit may be issued for the purchase price at our discretion. If you are exchanging the item and it is of differing cost, we will either refund back to your card or contact you for the extra payment. For exchanges within the UK, there is no additional postage required. For exchanges from outside the UK there is a return postage charge.

Refunds will be processed within 3 working days of receiving them back - please also allow time for the bank to process the transaction. With the exception of faulty goods, we cannot refund return postage costs, We cannot exchange or refund goods that have been used, washed or damaged. All returned or exchanged items must be in new, resaleable condition with all original packaging intact to receive full credit.

This does not affect your legal rights, including your right to claim a refund, replacement, repair and/or compensation where the goods are faulty or misdescribed.

We recommend you obtain proof of posting to enable tracking should your parcel not reach us, we cannot accept responsibility for products lost or damaged during their return to us. Any items personalised in any way cannot be exchanged, returned or refunded.

Product Care
Regular care will ensure that your canine equipment serves them well. If gear is not looked after it can become soiled or damaged and its performance can be significantly affected.
All care labels must be followed and Phytoscience (Europe) Ltd accept no responsibility if the products run, shrink or fade on washing. It is recommended that if the products are washed they should be washed alone on a low temperature.
